What are Rentals?
Rentals are, as the name suggests, are items that are rented to your customers (e.g. bikes, kayaks, etc.). These
items are charged for on an hourly basis.
How does Xtreme-Res handle Rentals?
Selecting the rental item on the Rental tab displays a calendar. The calendar will let you quickly check the availability
for any day.
The calendar is color-coded to make it easy to determine availability. In the above example red indicates that the
activity is not available and dark green indicates that it is 100% available. Numbers on the calendar days indicate
the percentage still available. Once a day is selected, availability by hour is displayed along the right-hand side
on the calendar.
Selecting a day, start time and end time, and number of participants will create a booking for your customer.
The booking is automatically created at the hourly rate times the number of hours rented for times the number of participants.
The above example is a three hour rental for 2 people (i.e. 6 hours in total).
The system will calculate taxes and total the amount due.
The booking transaction is finalized by taking payment from your customer.

Youth and Senior Pricing
Xtreme-Res allows for variable pricing on the same item. Youths, Seniors, Club Members, etc. can all have different
pricing.
Mid-week and Week-end Pricing
The system can automatically charge different rates based on whether the day is mid-week or on a week-end.
