What are Special Events?
Special Events are fixed time items that occur on an irregular basis. (e.g. a raft tour that runs the first week of June
or tickets to hockey games).
How does Xtreme-Res handle Special Events?
Selecting the special event on the Activity tab displays a calendar. The calendar lets you see which day or days the
special event is scheduled for and allows you to quickly check the availability for those days.
The calendar is color-coded to make it easy to determine availability. In the above example white indicates that the
activity is not available on that day. Numbers on the calendar days indicate the percentage still available.
Selecting a day and number of participants will create a booking for your customer.
The system will calculate taxes and total the amount due.
The booking transaction is finalized by taking payment from your customer.

Special Events can be one time occurrences or can happen multiple times. Each occurrence can have different capacities.
Seasonal Pricing
Pricing can be set up ahead of time to vary by season. Shoulder season pricing will automatically be displayed if
the date selected is in the off-peak season.
